Cell Phone Waiting Lot
The Cell Phone Waiting Lot at Reno-Tahoe International Airport offers customers a place to park and wait for their party to arrive. Located on National Guard Way, the Cell Phone Waiting Lot enables motorists to temporarily park free of charge until friends, family members or business associates have deplaned, collected baggage, and called to be picked up curbside. Customers must remain with their vehicle until their party calls to indicate they have arrived.
Effective May 18th, the Cell Phone Waiting Lot is located on National Guard Way, near the corner of Terminal Way. (See map below.)
There is no charge for parking and waiting in the lot, however, customers must remain with the vehicle. If your party needs to retrieve checked luggage, Reno-Tahoe International Airport suggests that they wait to call you until after they have their luggage in their possession, since waiting is not permitted at curbside.
As in the past, Reno-Tahoe International Airport guests still have the option of parking in short-term parking and entering the terminal to locate their party.
