International Departures
Passengers flying internationally can check-in at their airline ticket counter in the Ticketing Hall at RNO, then proceed to the TSA security checkpoint located in the center of the terminal building. Passengers should be be prepared to present valid photo I.D. and a boarding pass.
Volaris, our international airline that offers flights nonstop to Guadalajara, operates from the C Concourse.
International Arrivals
If your flight will be clearing customs, once you exit the aircraft you will enter the Customs and Border Protection facility located next to the main terminal building. If you are picking up an arriving party, RNO has seating and a family waiting area in the main terminal near baggage claim Door D.
Location
The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is located at 2001 E Plumb Ln, Reno, NV 89502. The Customs and Border Protection arrivals building is located north of the main terminal building and a short walk from the parking garage.

Importation Regulations:
On May 13, 2024, CDC published its new dog importation regulations; available on the Federal Register. The Rule will not go into effect until August 1st after the temporary suspension ceases on July 31st. More information can be found at www.cdc.gov/dogtravel. CBP encourages the public to utilize the website to access CDC’s new DogBot tool to determine what rules apply to your dog based on the dates of travel and where your dog is traveling from. Attached are fact sheets for importers based on the different pathways; this information can also be found by utilizing the DogBot.
