Lost & Found

If you believe you lost an item in Reno-Tahoe International Airport, including at the TSA Security Checkpoint, please contact our Lost and Found.

If you believe you left an item onboard an airplane, please contact the airline directly.

  • Call: (775) 328-6868 or use the contact form below.
  • Location: The front desk is located upstairs through the office door marked “Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority” next to Peet’s Coffee near the Ski Statue in the terminal.
  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday. The front desk is closed on weekends and federal holidays.

Lost & Found staff will make every effort to research and locate potential owners. When claiming your item, you will be asked to provide the date the item was lost and a description of the item. Please note, recovered items will be retained for 30 days before being donated or disposed of. For health and safety reasons, perishable food items, food and drink containers, pillows, blankets and soiled clothing may be discarded at the end of the business day. If you feel the item was stolen instead of lost, file a stolen property report with the Reno-Tahoe Airport Police.

RNO does not charge a fee to retrieve items at Lost & Found.
