What time does the security checkpoint open at RNO?

The TSA security checkpoint will be operational at 4:00am. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is open and operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please visit our security information page for additional assistance.

What time do the airline ticket counters open?

Ticket counters are required to open 90 minutes prior to the departing flight. Ticket counter hours of operation vary among our air carriers – reach out directly to your air carrier for more information. If there is not a ticketing agent present, please use an airport courtesy phone and ask to page your airline.

How late do the rental car offices stay open?

Rental car offices typically stay open if they have your reservation confirmed with a deposit. It is best to give your rental car company a call about their hours of operation and procedures regarding late pick-ups.

How long does it take to get through TSA security?

TSA wait times vary due to flight schedules and passenger counts. RNO is experiencing high passenger volumes and we recommend travelers arrive 2 hours before departure.

Where can I park my car at the airport?

My child is a minor and is flying in, can I pick them up at the gate?

Anyone with a legitimate need for passage may request a Non-Passenger Escort Pass from your airline ticketing agent. Please find more information about the criteria for obtaining security documents/escort pass here.

Which airlines offer curbside check-in?

Southwest Airlines offers curbside check-in at RNO – located at the south end of the terminal building.

Curbside check-in with Southwest Airlines is available during construction.

I lost or damaged my parking ticket, what do I do?
