I received a curbside parking citation by mistake. Can I appeal it?
Parking citations are issued for violations of curbside rules. Curbside rules are in place to ensure all travelers have a safe and streamlined experience.
- Vehicles may not park and wait at the airport’s front (or outer) curb. These areas are for immediate loading and unloading only.
- Do not leave your vehicle unattended at the front (or outer) curb for any reason. Unattended vehicles may be cited, towed, and/or searched by Airport Police. Airport safety regulations are strictly enforced to ensure the security of our passengers.
If you feel you have been incorrectly cited, you may file an appeal by completing a Parking Citation Appeal Form within 30 days of the infraction.
Do you have accessible parking?
RNO has accessible parking available in the Short-Term Garage, Long-Term Garage, or Long-Term Surface Lot. Accessible parking spaces are marked and located on each floor of the parking garage near the elevators and the far north corner of the Long-Term Surface Lot.
RNO offers free parking to any vehicle displaying a “Disabled Veteran” or “Ex-Prisoner of War” license plate. There are no other discounts offered for Veterans or ADA placards.
Is the parking at RNO secure?
RNO parking areas are fenced, well-lit, and patrolled. However, we will always recommend that you take any valuables in your car with you or leave them at home if you’re parking for extended periods of time, just to be safe.
What is considered an oversized vehicle?
If your vehicle cannot fit into the parking garage or requires more room than one parking space, it is considered an oversized vehicle.
*Please note these height limitations:
