Due to the Hawk Fire, Reno-Stead Airport (RTS) is closed to general aviation traffic, but remains open to fire fighting and military aircraft. Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) operations remain unaffected.

Parking in high demand

Don’t hibernate on scheduling transportation

We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your ride to the airport when booking your flight. Whether you hitch a ride with a friend, call a taxi, or use a rideshare, you can get dropped off at the curb with no grizzly surprises.

Our parking teams are here to help! Please bear with us as we work to create a better airport experience. Parking is in high demand, and when on-site lots fill up, overflow parking options are available.

Parking reservations are available in the Long-Term Garage second floor and roof.

Save a Little Extra

Park & Walk Lot

The new Park & Walk lot can help save a few bucks on parking. While this is an on-site parking option, it may not be the best fit for every traveler. The lot is about a 10-15 minute walk to the terminal building. If this option doesn’t work for you, consider a different arrival strategy or booking option.
