Children's Cabinet Deliveries

Join Us in Supporting RNO Federal Employees

As the federal government shutdown becomes the longest in U.S. history, more than 200 federal employees at RNO continue serving travelers without pay.

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority partnered with The Children’s Cabinet and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to ensure RNO’s federal employees receive access to essential goods and services during this time.

Last week, The Children’s Cabinet made an onsite delivery of essential items for federal airport employees, including non-perishable groceries, hygiene items and baby care items. This onsite delivery service will continue as needed.

We’re asking the community to help keep that support going and we thank those that already have. Donations to The Children’s Cabinet will help keep their market stocked with requested items for federal workers and their families. To give, visit www.childrenscabinet.org by mentioning it’s for “federal airport employees”.

RNO remains open, operational and safe, and we thank everyone for their patience and kindness during this time.

Ground Breaking for new Ground Transportation Center

Build the Future of Travel

Construction is underway on a new 440,000 sq. ft. Ground Transportation Center at RNO. The project—part of the MoreRNO program—is set to open in 2028.

Nearly three times the size of the current rental car area, the new center will enhance the passenger experience by bringing rental cars, taxis, shuttles and rideshares together in one state-of-the-art facility.

“By working together with Conrac Solutions and Meridiam, we’re creating a facility that will redefine how passengers move through our airport and support the continued growth of our region,” said Daren Griffin, President/CEO of the RTAA. Learn More
