Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) is an annual event that introduces girls to aviation and aerospace careers and lifestyles. The event is hosted by Women in Aviation International (WAI) and has been held since 2015. The 10th annual GIAD will take place on September 21, 2024.
GIAD events are held at airports, museums, hangars, and FBOs around the world and include activities such as:

Thursday, October 19th 9am- 11am
Food Bank’s Mobile Harvest program will be at the Stead Airport to distribute produce and other fresh food items to community members. All community members in need of food assistance are welcome to visit Mobile Harvest. There are no qualification requirements, and each household may pick up food from a Mobile Harvest distribution once per week.
