RENO, Nev. (Nov. 21, 2025) – Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is celebrating the launch of new nonstop service to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) on Frontier Airlines with a vacation giveaway.
Starting Nov. 22, 2025, Frontier will connect northern Nevada travelers to the Valley of the Sun twice weekly, providing more flight options and competitive fares. To mark the occasion, RNO is giving away two vacation packages valued at more than $1,000 each, complete with flight vouchers, hotel stays and attraction gift cards.
Inspired by Frontier’s signature animal tail designs, the giveaway features two mascots: a Coyote for travelers ready to rev up their adventure and a Tortoise for those who prefer to take it slow and savor the journey. Here’s two ways that travelers could choose their own adventure:
“Every new nonstop flight strengthens our overall connectivity and reinforces RNO’s role as a gateway to northern Nevada,” said Mark Berg, Chief Commercial Officer of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. “We appreciate Frontier’s partnership and confidence in the Reno-Tahoe market as we continue investing in our airport’s future and enhancing travel opportunities for our community.”
Frontier’s new Phoenix service adds to the airline’s growing lineup at RNO, following its return earlier this year with new routes to Las Vegas and Denver. Together, these destinations add to the convenience, affordability and connectivity for the northern Nevada community.
“We look forward to welcoming the lucky winners of the vacation giveaway aboard our new nonstop service to Phoenix,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “We thank the team at Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority for their partnership as we continue to grow our service in northern Nevada, affordably connecting area consumers to Arizona, Colorado, Las Vegas and beyond.”
The sweepstakes is open now through Dec. 12, 2025, and travelers can enter once daily at renoairport.com/sweepstakes. Winners will be announced the week of Dec. 15, 2025. View and download RNO travel package graphics and Frontier Airlines digital assets.
