Curbside Kindness Returns to Reno-Tahoe International Airport
RENO, Nev. (Dec. 23, 2025) – Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is bringing back Curbside Kindness, a feel-good effort that rewards travelers who catch a ride to the airport and those who drive them.
Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) team members will be surprising drivers dropping off passengers with small tokens of appreciation, including gift cards and other surprises, as a thank-you for helping make holiday travel a little easier. The effort not only spreads some extra holiday cheer but also encourages travelers to catch a ride to the airport, helping reduce congestion and free up space in the parking garage and surface lot during peak travel days.
RTAA has hosted Curbside Kindness in the past and is excited to bring it back again this holiday season to recognize the simple acts of kindness that make a big difference for travelers and airport operations alike.

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) operates two of the most important economic drivers for our region–the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and the Reno-Stead Airport (RTS). The RTAA is financially self-sufficient, meaning it is funded through airport operations and not state or local taxes. Eleven airlines serve RNO, flying to multiple nonstop destinations throughout the United States and Mexico. For more details, visit www.renoairport.com.
