(RENO, NV) – The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has scheduled routine emergency training for the next month.

Where: Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

When:    Now through early January 2023

                Times will vary

Emergency training scenarios will be broadcast over tactical channels and scanners indicating an incident has occurred. Please disregard. If there is, in fact, an actual emergency, we will contact you directly.

The training is designed to prepare Airport Communications’ staff in the event an accident occurs on the airport. We bring this to your attention in case someone reports unusual activity or radio traffic.

No operational delays or impact to the traveling public are expected.
