In accordance with the TSA, face masks will no longer be required for employees and customers at RNO

RENO, Nev. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has advised us they will no longer be enforcing the directive that requires masking in the airport. We know that travelers and employees might have mixed feelings to this change in enforcement and we ask everyone to be kind about the choice to wear a mask or not while traveling.

Please check with your airline when it comes to their mask requirements while flying. The CDC continues to recommend masks in indoor public transportation settings.

With a historic number of airlines serving RNO and a record number of non-stop destinations, we look forward to providing you with the smoothest travel experience possible. Please arrive two hours early for flights to allow for parking, airline check-in, and TSA security screening.

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority receives no state or local funding. All operating revenues are derived from tenant and concession fees. Thirteen airlines serve Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), flying to multiple nonstop destinations throughout the United States and Mexico. For more details, visit
