UPDATE – December Flight Schedule
December flight schedule, destinations and flight frequency, at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). Flights are subject to change at the discretion of the air carrier.

Community Support Effort Launches for Federal Workers
While RNO remains open and operational during the federal government shutdown, the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) recognizes the impact on federal employees such as Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) staff who continue to work without pay.
To ensure support reaches those who need it most, the airport has partnered with The Children’s Cabinet and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, two trusted local organizations with the infrastructure, staff and resources to provide direct assistance.

According to Google’s 2025’s travel trends —which compiles four years worth of Google Flights data—these are the most affordable times to book for winter holidays:
You may have heard that you’ll save money by purchasing your flight on a particular day. That’s actually a myth. Instead of it being about when you buy, consider when you fly.
Travelers who take off Monday through Wednesday can save up to 13% compared to weekend trips.
Bonus: Midweek flights mean fewer crowds and a smoother start to your holiday getaway.

A little kindness goes a long way—even if it’s just dropping off your friend or family member at the airport. In Nov., our Curbside Kindness Team will be back, surprising drivers with gift cards* as a small “thank you.” Whether you’re dropping someone off or picking them up, every ride helps make travel at RNO smoother.
Please note: Gift cards are not guaranteed; limited while supplies last.

Summer is officially over and RNO finished strong. August soared with over 489,000 passengers, making it our busiest month since 2005. So far, 3.3 million travelers have passed through RNO, putting us on track for 4.9 million in 2025.
If you’re one of the travelers passing through RNO in the months ahead, we look forward to serving you.
