Print Page

(Reno, NV) – As part of a regular maintenance program, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is embarking on a summer-long project to reconstruct pavement areas.

The first part of this program will begin Wednesday, March 26 and will include demolition of concrete overnight.  Between March 26 and March 28, from 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., there will be noise and vibration from heavy equipment used to demolish pavement.  The primary location for the work will be north of the terminal building and south of the air cargo building.

While we do not anticipate any impact on passengers or flights, it is important to note that the public may hear noise coming from the airport during the night.

In the weeks and months ahead, the media will be informed of pavement work that may be noticed off airport property.
