RENO, NV – Reno-Tahoe International Airport is adding more air service for the
region with additional non-stop flights to Portland and Seattle on Alaska Airlines.
Effective June 8, Alaska Airlines will offer two departures each day to Portland and
five departures to Seattle. Alaska already serves these markets, but is adding
frequency following a recent announcement that Southwest Airlines was leaving
these markets.

“Alaska Airlines is a tremendous airline partner for the Reno-Tahoe region,” said
Marily Mora, President/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport. “They
immediately recognized the value in the Portland and Seattle markets and stepped
up to ensure no lapse in service.”

Alaska Airlines already served the Seattle market and recently began service
between Reno and Portland in November 2013. Adding additional frequencies to
both markets was a natural fit.

“While we appreciate Alaska offering increased flights to the Pacific Northwest,”
continued Mora, “it is now up to the community to fill those seats so we can
maintain this level of service.”

The routes will be operated for Alaska by Horizon Air using 76-seat Bombardier
Q400s. Travelers can enjoy Horizon’s award-winning onboard service, which
includes complimentary Starbucks coffee, soft drinks, and (for passengers 21 and
older) wines and microbrews.

Tickets are available for purchase through Alaska Airlines at www.renoairport.com.
