NEVER-BEFORE SERVED MARKET FOR RENO-TAHOE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Reno, Nev. – With support from the local tourism community, Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) will welcome new non-stop service to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) on American Airlines beginning tomorrow, June 3 through October 6, 2021. The daily flight, the first such recorded service in RNO’s history, is scheduled to switch to an early morning departure on August 17.

Departure times through August 16 are:

CLT – RNO                                         RNO – CLT

8:00 p.m.                                          10:43 p.m.

American Airlines will fly 128-seat, high performance Airbus A319 aircraft, on the route. CLT is one of five hubs for American Airlines, providing convenient connections to the airline’s expansive worldwide network.

The airport will be busy this summer, so it is recommended travelers arrive early, 2 hours to 90 minutes prior to their scheduled flight, and allow extra time for parking and security screening. Despite the CDC easing its mask guidelines, all travelers are required to wear face coverings in airports and on planes through September 13 regardless of proof of vaccination.
