RELEASE – Reno-Stead Airport Again Partners with Food Bank as Mobile Harvest Distribution Site

What: The Food Bank of Northern Nevada (FBNN) will again operate a
Mobile Harvest food distribution site at Reno-Stead Airport (RTS) to
support those affected by COVID-19 and the recent forest fires.
In accordance with CDC guidelines for social distancing and hygiene,
clients will pick-up a pre-packaged box with shelf-stable items and a
bag of assorted fresh produce in a no-contact, drive-thru format.

When: Thursday, August 20, 2020
9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
(Please do not arrive earlier than one hour prior to start time.)

Where: Reno-Stead Airport
Outside Freedom Flight Terminal
4895 Texas Avenue, Reno

To maintain a touchless intake process, clients are asked to remain inside their vehicle and pay
close attention to signage. Food will be placed directly inside the car to limit exposure. For walk-up traffic, strict social distancing guidelines will be in place.
