RENO, Nev. – The final winner of the #flyRNO 2019 Getaways sweepstakes is heading to Houston, Texas, courtesy of United Airlines and the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

Amber Geffre of Susanville, CA won two round-trip tickets to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on United Airlines, a $500 voucher to cover accommodations, and a $300 Visa gift card.  Over 4,500 entries were received.

Nicknamed Space City, Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States. It’s recognized for its energy industry, aeronautics and biometric research.  Now, getting there from RNO is even more convenient.  In May, United expanded its flights to daily, year-round, non-stop service with connections to hundreds of cities throughout the world.

#flyRNO Getaways began in April and surprised two lucky individuals with its first sweepstakes trip for two to Guadalajara, Mexico on Volaris.  Again in May, #flyRNO Getaways awarded one winner a vacation for two to New York City on JetBlue along with tickets to the One World Observatory at the top of One World Trade Center.

The trip to Houston is the third and last of this sweepstakes schedule.  Stay tuned for details on future contests at RNO.
