What: Food Bank of Northern Nevada (FBNN) will operate a Mobile Harvest food distribution site at Reno-Stead Airport (RTS) to support those affected by COVID-19. Over two weeks, the Food Bank has seen a 30% – 50% increase in need.

In accordance with CDC guidelines for social distancing and hygiene, clients will pick-up a pre-packaged box with shelf-stable items and a bag of assorted fresh produce in a no-contact, drive-thru format.

When: Friday, April 10, 2020

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

(Please do not arrive earlier than one hour prior to start time.)

Where: Reno-Stead Airport

Outside Freedom Flight Terminal

4895 Texas Avenue, Reno

As COVID-19 spreads, it’s important to eliminate person-to-person contact. RTS is pleased to join FBNN in providing a touchless intake process, ensuring all regulations are met to limit exposure and distribute food safely and responsibly.

Clients are asked to remain inside their vehicle and pay close attention to all signs, staff and volunteers. For walk-up traffic, strict social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Northern Nevada is resilient, and during this great time of need, we are stronger together in assuring no one in our community goes hungry.  For additional details, visit https://www.fbnn.org/gethelp/neighborhood-pantry/ .
