Honk, honk! Improved Parking Reservations Coming to Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Hearing feedback from travelers, the airport is improving the parking reservation experience by switching to a new system.

RENO, Nev. (Sept. 23, 2026) – Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is enhancing the traveler experience by transitioning to a new parking reservation system, which will be available beginning Tuesday, Oct. 13. Powered by Aeroparker, the new parking reservation system will offer:

  • A 4-step online reservation process
  • Reservable parking in the Long-Term Garage, RNO’s option closest to the terminal building
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the reservation begins
  • Reservation holders will receive a QR code to scan at the parking entrance – the code can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for convenient scanning

Parking reservations will be paused during the transition to the new system between Oct. 1-12, 2026.

The airport is making these changes based on feedback from passengers who used RNO’s parking reservation system in the last year. Additionally, all customer service will be handled by the RNO parking team, making getting assistance easier. For travelers who have an existing reservation through the previous system, JustPark, their reservations will be honored through their booking dates.

Here’s what passengers should know when reserving parking in advance at RNO:

  • The reservation system holds a limited number of spaces, and the remaining spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reserved spaces are not marked.
  • Parking reservations can fill quickly, so passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and book parking online at RenoAirport.com/parking when they purchase their flight.
  • Parking reservation holders should still plan to arrive early. It may take 15 minutes to locate a space.
