A Tasty Take on Texas

Existing Year-Round Nonstop Flights Worth Booking

The annual rib cook off ended earlier this month, but you can still savor the best BBQ in the U.S. with a year-round nonstop flight to Austin, Texas, offered by American Airlines. According to Food & Wine, Austin, ranks as the number one city for best barbecue. The 3.5-hour nonstop flight from RNO to AUS will have you there before a slow-cooked beef brisket finishes in the smoker.

Ranked second on the list, Dallas offers the finest “sweet-tangy” BBQ in east Texas. With nonstop options from RNO by American Airlines to DFW and Southwest Airlines to DAL*, you have choices right at your sticky fingertips!

There’s plenty more to do and explore; the Lone Star State has it all. Check out Visit Austin and Visit Dallas for more information on planning your stay.

*Note: DAL on Southwest Airlines is subject to seasonality.
